Hello. Thank you for stopping by. I would love to tell you a bit about myself and what a session with me is like.

It is very important for my clients and little subjects to know who I am and what I am about. When I step into your home or meet you at a picturesque park on the day of our session we are already off to a good start.

I am a wife, a mother, a daughter, a friend, and a photographer. I was born and raised in Southeast Texas, studied photography in college and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree. After graduation, I primarily photographed weddings and children. After seven years, I moved to Houston where I remained close to my camera, but did not work professionally for a few years. Motherhood changed that; after the birth of my daughter I was inspired again to get behind the camera. My passions in life are my family, my friends, and my photography.

I believe moments are magic, life is art, and as a mother I believe there is nothing more pure and sacred than the beauty of childhood.

My goal is to provide you with a collection of images that show the unique nature of your family.

I am not claiming originality here, I know plenty of people have photographed bubbles before, however I have wanted to try it and it has just never worked. Today was a nice break from the 100 degree days we have been having – it was cloudy all day so the high got to about 90! We were outside as a family this evening drawing with sidewalk chalk and blowing bubbles, things we haven’t done in months and it was so fun! The air was so still and thick! No breeze – about 99% humidity (don’t you wish you could have been here) and I grabbed my camera as the bubbles didn’t fly away as fast as they usually do.

Well, last week on the 4th I had the honor of photographing this beautiful family, all 17 of them!!! Grandma, Grandpa, their four kids and their spouses, and their 7 grandkids! Here in Houston we don’t do a whole lot of photo shoots outdoors between June and September, but this was an exception. after 8 weeks in NICU

I was so thrilled to meet this sweet baby girl after her 8 week stay in the NICU. My dear friend delivered her baby at 30 weeks. Little one only weighed 3lb 4oz. This sweet couple is expecting a baby girl really soon and little man is going to be a great big brother! I had a wonderful time with this family last week. I think their little man might be a photographer one day, he was helping me take photos and wanted to assist in every way, ha! It was really fun. Seven days old

I had the pleaseure of meeting this sweet little seven day old boy yesterday. Isn’t he adorable?! He is a strong little one, I was moving him around and attempting to get his hands and feet in good positions for photos and he was pulling away, it was too funny!
